The cupboard of contentment
Alexander McCall Smith's The Full Cupboard of Life is another fun installment in the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series. Here Mma Ramotswe struggles with a successful Botswanan business woman's search for the perfect husband, while Mr. J.L.B. Matekoni tries to avoid a parachute jump, faces up to a nasty mechanic and a bossy woman, and debates his future with Precious Ramotswe.
As usual the book is jolly good fun, a great light read for a day when you don't have to do anything much. Great detection it isn't, but a feel-good read it certainly is.
It's also another country visited in Africa for the 666 Challenge - only 2 more to go on the continent. I'm struggling badly finding reads for S. America and Oceania - any suggestions would be gratefully accepted.
